While there have been some big deals this month, and Chelsea did land Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina, with Andre Schurrle being shipped out to Wolfsburg, but by and large today has been filled with the sort of moves that don’t stir the blood.
Even the rumoured late moves at the time of writing, such as Carlton Cole to West Brom, are not the sort of moves that would exactly put anyone, even Baggies fans, into much of a tizzy.
Hence, the day has been perfectly summed up by the back of the Metro across the water.
