Sunderland supporters have taken fan banter to the next level.
The Black Cats are enjoying some stellar form against their fierce rivals, winning each of their last five meetings and a group of fans are making sure Newcastle supporters don’t forget it anytime soon.
During this afternoon’s game between Newcastle and Tottenham at St James Park, a plane could be seen overhead with the banner “5 in a row – Sunderland.”
The stunt obviously put the Magpies off their game and they ended up losing 3-1 to Spurs, leaving them pointless since February.
