Oh dear!
To commemorate his century of appearances for his country, Wayne Rooney was presented with a special golden 100th cap by Sir Bobby Charlton before England’s Euro 16 qualifier against Slovenia. It was a really moving gesture involving two key England players from different generations.
Unfortunately, the official England soccer team’s instagram made a massive error when sharing a photo of the moment with the world. The caption says that the England striker was presented with the special cap by Sir Bobby Robson, not Bobby Charlton. That’s right, the Sit Bobby Robson who has been dead for over five years.
Unbelievable stuff!
