A lot can change in five years
Your hair go go a different colour (grey, thanks for asking), you can add a few pounds (or maybe even shed a few) to your personal appearance.
It’s all part of growing up.
And that’s especially true if you are two of the world’s brightest Brazilian footballers.
Philippe Coutinho and Neymar are rivals in the Brazil senior side but are very close friends off it.
The Liverpool midfielder has been one of the club’s brightest performers over the last two seasons while Neymar… well, he’s doing OK for himself at Barcelona too you know.
Both men are vying for a starting place in the Brazil line-up and it’s five years since they were both first called up to the senior squad in 2010.
That prompted Coutinho to share this wonderful ‘throwback Thursday’ style pic to when both players were 18 before Brazil beat Costa Rica on Saturday 1-0.
Coutinho still looks like he gets lunch money from his Ma, but Neymar, well let’s say he’s filled out quite a bit since he was a teenager.

To be fair we’d probably look fairly different too if we saw pics of us at 18.
