Peter Crouch is a very tall man. He stands at six-foot-seven and would not have a very successful career as a jockey even if he is quite skinny.
Nathan Alison on the other hand is a jockey and is definitely not six-foot-seven or anything approaching it. His dream of becoming a footballer at Chelsea or Charlton was wrecked by being too small. Boo.
So the teenager decided to throw his lot in with horse racing and Jim Boyle’s yard and he’s been pretty successful over the last few years.
He’s out in Dubai at the moment and bumped into the spindly figure of Mr Abbey Clancy and the picture of the two together is pretty special:
