Cristiano Ronaldo has had some awful luck with artwork of late.
There was the statue that looked far more like Niall Quinn than the Portuguese forward…

…and it wasn’t the first to get it completely wrong.

Thankfully those past failures of portraying the Real Madrid forward in an artistic form didn’t deter one mural painter.
Ronaldo is en route to Russia to compete at the Confederations Cup for Portugal, and the Portuguese team is staying in Kazan where the mural is painted.
According to RT , the artists painted the Ronaldo mural adjacent to the team hotel and it will be visible from Ronaldo’s room.
The mural took five days to complete and stretches up three storeys.

Not a bad effort at all, the wink depicting a certain incident from the 2006 World Cup.
