Adidas don’t mess around.
The sportswear giant are only in the first year of their deal with Manchester United but already they’re planning huge changes, according to reports.
Footyheadlines, the website that often leaks pictures of upcoming kits before they are officially unveiled, have claimed that Adidas are considering an homage to the old days of Newton Heath with United’s home kit for the 2016/17 season.
Apparently, United could wear a half-and-half style home shirt with two different shades of red on either side of the shirt.
This is a mock-up of how the jersey could look.
It’s not the craziest idea in the world as Adidas have done something similar with Denmark’s new jersey.
