When it comes to speaking foreign languages, the British have a reputation for being pretty terrible.

When abroad, many of us attempt to communicate with the locals by continuing to speak in English, but in a slower, louder way.

Luckily for any Liverpool fans that are travelling to their Europa League tie in Germany this week, help with the local lingo is at hand.

Their opponents, FC Ausburg, are going to great lengths to welcome Liverpool to Bavaria.

Having already saluted Merseyside’s most famous musical exports, the Beatles, their Twitter account has taken inspiration from Klopp’s Scouse lessons upon his arrival at Anfield by sending out a brief guide on how to translate several Liverpudlian phrases into German…
