Judging by some of the Champions League final celebrations in Berlin last night, there are probably quite a few sore heads in various hotels across the Germany’s capital today.
Barcelona lifted their fifth European Cup with a 3-1 win over Juventus with Lionel Messi securing his fourth medal.
The Argentine was quieter than his usual devastating self but was still instrumental in the victory. His rasping shot set up Suarez for the second goal and he played a part in the break for the result-sealing third.
Gerard Pique looked like he had an unbelievable night but Messi must have taken it a bit handier, judging by the picture he posted to his Facebook page today. Sure isn’t it himself at breakfast with a very special dining companion.
