Was there any oul box around for him to stand on at all
Barcelona may have a basketball team-and they’re quite good too-but Lionel Messi is unlikely ever to grace the hardwood considering he’s fairly handy at the football still. The Argentine might be just a little on the small side for the game but we still wouldn’t fancy trying to keep our personal foul tally down against him.
The Argentine got a chance to see some NBA action on Wednesday night as he and his international teammates took in the Washington Wizards’ clash with the Indiana Pacers at the Verizon Arena. Messi and co face El Salvador in a friendly on Saturday in the city, and the night provided one of the best photo opportunities of the year.
The midfielder/winger/all round genius got a chance to meet Gheorghe Muresan, one of the tallest players in NBA history. He stands at an impressive 7’7″. Need we remind you that Lionel Messi is a full two feet shorter,at 5’7″.

The lesson kids is if you are a very small,or tall superstar sportsman or woman, don’t get snapped beside someone your vertical opposite. Did Messi not learn anything from Peter Crouch?
