Liverpool launched their new home strip yesterday.
The kit was met with a slightly mixed reaction, and not just because of the tedium that accompanied the jersey’s launch at Anfield. Selfie-sticks, Mel from Dallas, mild heckling of Raheem Sterling and an insightful Q&A with club legends Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush all featured before we eventually got to see next season’s kit. It truly was a low point for the human race.
Liverpool’s new away kit has yet to be revealed, and hopefully it will not be launched in the same manner, but leaked pictures of a new away kit emerged tonight, and we’re impressed.
Manufacturer’s New Balance, who took over the helm from subsidiary Warrior, have opted for an all-white strip, with red trim.
A really smart looking kit. Just please don’t inflict another kit launch on us all.
