PIC: Germany ditch the red V-stripe for Euro 2016 jersey and it gets a huge thumbs up from us

Back to basics

We love a plain kit – simple, elegant, understated.

Germany have gotten rid of the clutter of that red V-stripe on the home jersey they donned for last year’s World Cup and have gone down the minimalistic road.

For next summer’s Euro 2016 tournament, the reigning world champions will be kitted out in a return-to-roots, plain white number.

Black adidas stripes run up the sides of the shirt and the bold, black collar means that this could well be a must-have for five-a-side.
