England’s Euro 2016 is an absolute beauty… from the knees up.
The Three Lion’s jersey has a retro feel with a traditional pristine white design accented with ice-blue sleeves. The shorts retain the classic white with an added dark blue strip running down the outside leg.
Then we get to the feet. Inexplicably, even though there is no red anywhere else on the kit, they’ve opted for the most garish red socks imaginable.
While the blue socks work with the fully red away kit, as there are some blue tints on that jersey, we feel the very loud red completely jars with the white.

It almost resembles an upside-down rocket pop. Maybe that’s what they were going for.
