Pic: Check out West Ham’s snazzy FA Cup shirt that may only ever be worn tonight

If they lose to Everton, it will be its only outing

We’re not sure when teams started having special FA Cup only shirts, but it seems it is a thing now

It is a while since there has been a good old fashioned ‘clubs change their shirts too often’ argument so West Ham have come up with a fine way to reignite that debate.

Tonight, for their FA Cup Third Round replay against Everton, West Ham will wear this, a limited edition FA Cup only shirt

As shirts go it is pretty slick, and considering West Ham’s home kit is one of the most stylish of any team in the Premier League, we’re not surprised.

But if the team lose tonight the shirt will never be worn again, and at £50 a pop, fans may not be too chuffed.

Only 4,000 were made and a few days ago the club were claiming that only half were left so fans either believe the club are going to have a long Cup run or they think the special edition is worth the money.
