Cup final tickets are like gold dust.
Fans will go to any lengths to get there clammy mitts on one of those little rectangles of paper gold.
One die-hard Gooner went to royally extreme measures to try to get a ticket to see his beloved club play Aston Villa in the FA Cup final against Aston Villa.
Charlie Pearce, chancer extraordinaire, penned a letter to Queen Elizabeth II to see if ol’ Lizzy could sort her out with some tickets to the match. He didn’t get the tickets, but he did get a reply.
He’ll have to go elsewhere, I’m afraid. Word on the street is King Harald V of Norway has a few spare terrace tickets going. Maybe he should try hitting him up.
