PIC: Bosnian journalist thinks we’ve honoured play-off villain Thierry Henry in Dublin city centre

just a slight misunderstanding

Kevin McGillicuddy

Lost in translation surely.

Bosnia fans are gathering in Dublin this evening ahead of the biggest football game we’ve seen here since, well, since last month against Germany last month actually.

It’s that big.

There is approximately 1,500 Bosnia fans after travelling over over the game while there is quite a sizeable Bosnia media presence here too.

And one of those covering the game for the Eastern Europeans appears to have been slightly confused that we have named a street after a man who broke our hearts in Paris six years ago.

Sasa Ibrulj as ever so slightly confused why we would have a main street in Dublin city named after Thierry Henry when he was having a wander around earlier today

Should someone tell him?
