This was always going to back fire.
In fact, if you were superstitious, you’d believe it was this, and not Arsenal’s superior players, which caused Aston Villa’s 4-0 defeat yesterday. You could even call this lad a jinx.
One Villa fan was so confident his team would win yesterday’s FA Cup final, he went and got this tattoo, which reads: ‘AVFC FA CUP WINNERS 2014.15’

Why would anyone tempt fate in such a way? Did he anticipate a rush for such tattoos, and decide to jump the queue? Only he can really answer that. Either way, it’s turned out to be a really bad idea.
He now has to undergo tattoo laser removal surgery or live with a permanent reminder of being spectacularly wrong. Or he change his identity and move town to avoid constant embarrassment and ridicule. Or change the club he supports and get the ‘V’ removed from the tattoo.
In any case, let’s never speak of him again.
