Remember Alexander Hleb? Course ya do.
Like Justin Hoyte, Philippe Senderos and Denilson, he’s one of the players from Arsenal’s squad of a decade ago that may have slipped your mind.
Hleb was the epitome of “an OK player” but the Belarusian made enough of an impact during his three years with the Gunners to warrant a €17 million bid from Barcelona.
So he was clearly rated by Pep Guardiola.
But one man who didn’t rate Mr Hleb is Arsenal fan Geof Cohen who remains unimpressed by the midfielder even in the afterlife.
This banterful memorial was set up outside the Emirates by Geof’s son Howard after his father passed away and the determination shown to take the piss out of an almost forgotten player is pretty damn hilarious.
My memorial in honour of my dad at #arsenal stadium has got a following. He’d be pleased. Hleb probably wouldn’t https://t.co/HlYPkopTM1
