Contrary to popular belief, Wayne Rooney's actually a decent actor.
A video has been doing the rounds on social media today of Phil Bardsley and Wayne Rooney engaging in fisticuffs in the Manchester United striker's Chesire home.
The clip shows the footballers donning boxing gloves and doing a friendly sparring session in Rooney's kitchen. Bardsly then unleashes a haymaker that caused Rooney to go crashing to the floor as if he was knocked out.
There was a bit of concern from people on social media that Bardsley had maybe taken it too far and rendered the United player unconscious. However, his wife Tanya cleared up everything on Twitter.

With this new information in mind, it has become apparent that Rooney's a decent enough actor to fool some people into thinking he was legitimately knocked out. Maybe he has a career on the big screen after this whole football mullarky runs its course.
