Who knew the departure of a club doctor would cause so much fuss?
Pep Guardiola came under fire for laying the blame on Bayern club doctor Hans Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt for the side’s 3-1 Champions League defeat to Porto.
The 72-year-old medical professional left his post at the club after the game, reportedly citing Guardiola’s criticism as the reason for his resignation.
Guardiola’s future at the club was called into question because of his treatment of the Bayern stalwart. who had been working with the club since 1977.
However, the Spaniard has vowed today that he will be in charge of the Bundesliga giants for next year’s campaign, despite the fall-out from the incident, as former Middlesbrough striker Jan Aage Fjortoft revealed on Twitter.
Guardiola: – Of course I will stay here next season

Fjortoft also gave some background information on the well-respected doctor and explained how his relationship with Guardiola had broken down to the point where he felt he needed to leave.
Maybe hard for people outside Germany to understand this doctor-stuff at Bayern. But Müller-Wohlfahrt is a man with "golden hands"
