“I got my mind made up and I can’t but let go.”
Pep Guardiola may or may not be a One Republic fan, but either way it’s still an appropriate song for the ‘Bald One’ ahead of his future football plans.
The former Barcelona manager has been with Bayern Munich for three seasons, but it’s widely expected that he will quit the German club at the end of this season after a spell characterised by domestic success and European frustration thus far.
Munich’s final game before the winter break is against Hannover on Saturday afternoon (2.30pm) and, after the final whistle, Guardiola has indicated everyone will know when he plans to do next season.
He has been widely linked with a job in the Premier League and, speaking today, he admitted that his club know his plans, and soon so will the wider world.
“Karl Heinz Rummenigge knows absolutely everything.”
“The club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I have said time and time again that we will say something after our final game in Hannover, and that’s how things are going to stay. I’m just focusing on Hannover. I’ve been watching their games.”
There will be quite a few managers in Manchester, London and Paris curious to know what Guardiola has planned.
