Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp both want new goalkeepers this summer.
Both men are interested in Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen.
Both men will want to get rid of established incumbents if their desires are to be fulfilled.
Quite a quandary, but if both men work together, perhaps they can find a solution.
Guardiola is understood to be keen on the Barcelona number two so much that he has made plans for Joe Hart to be benched next term.
The current Bayern Munich boss is unconvinced Hart has the necessary footwork to be able to play out from the back, and is keen on ter Stegen as his number one next season for Manchester City.
The netminder is likely to play the last few games of the season for Barcelona, after Claudio Bravo’s injury last week.

However, Hart, as England’s number one choice, won’t be happy sitting in the comfy seats at the Etihad.
Instead, according to The Daily Express, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are willing to splash out on the netminder to guarantee him first-team football.
The 29-year-old is likely to cost in excess of at least £20 million, and his arrival will only add to the headache that is Simon Mignolet’s five-year-contract extension granted to the Belgian earlier this year.
However, Klopp is convinced that Hart will be step one in solving his side’s defensive frailties, and Pep Guardiola’s ruthless streak, could be Klopp’s gain.
Reports in Spain, however, suggest that the German will not be allowed leave the Nou Camp this summer, unless the club organise a like-for-like replacement.
