Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku look awfully chummy for two men who had a “dramatic bust-up” just a few days ago.
Pogba and Lukaku seemingly got a great kick out of The Sun report that the pair had fallen out in the dressing room after Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Southampton last weekend.
The report stated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had to intervene and restore order after Lukaku took umbrage with Pogba’s insistence on taking a penalty late on in the game at Old Trafford.
Pogba missed the penalty and the report claimed that Lukaku, who was on a hat-trick, reacted furiously.
The pair mocked the story on social media earlier this week and they weren’t about to turn down the opportunity to do the same on Wednesday night, when United claimed a dramatic victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
For the second time in as many matches, Lukaku allowed a teammate to take a spot-kick despite being on a hat-trick but unlike Pogba against the Saints, Marcus Rashford made no mistake from 12 yards and sent United into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Pogba was suspended for Wednesday’s match but he made his way on to the pitch to celebrate the victory and that’s when he and Lukaku rubbished any suggestions of a “bust-up.”
The close friends laughed as they made the gesture for writing and talking before they celebrated with their personalised handshake.
Despite reports, Lukaku clearly isn’t a selfish teammate and his comments after Wednesday’s game on why he left the penalty to Rashford prove that.
“I was happy that he scored. He came to me and wanted to shoot,” Lukaku said.
“I said ‘man, this is your time. Do it for yourself and us’.”
