The note was accompanied by a parking ticket on Pogba’s Rolls Royce.
Paul Pogba returned to the Rolls Royce he parked at a train station near Manchester on Monday to find a note asking him kindly to “Stop driving like a wanker”.
The note, left on the car which had been parked overnight at the station in Wilmslow while Pogba was at an event in London, was accompanied by a parking ticket.
Manchester Evening News have reported that the car parked in a marked bay, and was most likely fined for staying beyond the allotted time in the area.
“It was stuck on the windscreen and it was pretty clear what it said. I don’t think he’ll be too happy,” MEN quoted an onlooker as saying.
“We didn’t see anyone put it there. It could be a teammate having a laugh, or it could be a City fan winding him up. Who knows.
“I’m sure he’s not bothered about the parking ticket, that will be small change to him.”
It is unclear whether Pogba was targeted by the person, though it appears unlikely unless the French midfielder – who has been in phenomenal form Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side of late – has the words “This Is Paul Pogba’s Car” scrawled along the doors.
