Patrick Kluivert thinks he’s uncovered a conspiracy to rig the Ballon d’Or

Hmm, curious

Kevin McGillicuddy

Patrick Kluivert should get on the Steven Avery case.

The Dutchman was one of the hundreds of people of people who was entitled to a vote on last night’s Ballon d’Or but the now Curacao manager is not happy.

Lionel Messi of course picked up his fifth award in just seven years as he came out well ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar in the voting.

Scoring 50 odd goals in 2015 always meant that the Barcelona man was likely to top the poll, ,but some eagle eyed nerds fans decided they saw an anomaly in Patrick Kluivert’s voting pattern.

We know Robbie Keane didn’t have Messi as his number one,  and another according to the voting papers, neither  did the former Barcelona man as it appeared he had Neymar, Luis Suarez and Robert Lewandowski as his preferred 1, 2, 3.

When it was pointed out to him, the Dutchman was not happy,

He then tried to defend himself by lavishing praise ‘Marc Anthony’ style on Lionel Messi

But some amateur detectives had already made up their mind on what had happened.
