More injury trouble.

Paris Saint-Germain’s injury troubles went from bad to worse this weekend. With Neymar already ruled out with a broken metatarsal, the French champions were banking on the likes of star striker Edinson Cavani to step up to the plate. Then he got injured.

That wasn’t the end of the world, Kylian Mbappé could play up front, with Julian Draxler and Ángel Di María on the wings. Well, if they weren’t needed in midfield, where PSG are also down to the bare bones, having to play Dani Alves in an unfamiliar holding midfield role.

But Dani Alves may be needed in defence now after Thomas Meunier suffered a concussion during a Ligue 1 clash against Bordeaux.

PSG confirmed on their website that the Belgian right-back will “the neurological consultation confirmed a slight concussion. This requires rest until the next neurological check-up at the end of the week.”

So that’s Neymar, Cavani, Marco Verratti and Thomas Meunier all ruled out of Tuesday’s tie.

Over to you, Kylian.
