Only Harry Kane, Anthony Martial and Sergio Aguero make it into the top 10, with England and Tottenham striker Kane (€112.5 million) the only English-based player to top €100m in value.

Unsurprisingly top spot goes to Lionel Messi, who is worth €211.1m (before tax trial), followed by Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann and Kane.

It's quite a who's who of footballing talent, but it is devoid of any Irish players. While our second Euro 2016 opponents Belgium have three players - Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin de Bruyne - in the top 30 alone.
