Edin Dzeko may not be at 100% fitness for tomorrow night’s clash with Ireland at the Aviva stadium.
The Bosnian team management have given an update on their team’s fitness tonight at a press conference in Dublin , and it seems the Roma striker picked up a slight knock in Friday’s 1-1 draw.
If the the ex-Manchester City man was to miss the game it would be a major blow to the Bosnia’s hopes of reaching Euro 2016, but manager Mehmed Bazdarevic is hopeful that he will be fit for the match,
“We have options, but Dzeko was hurt. He had a minor injury and everything is fine. We have solutions for every player.”
Dzeko has been struggling with a leg injury in recent weeks and it was reported on Friday night that he left the field clutching his groin.
Reports also this evening suggest Mensur Mujdža could also be a doubt for the game that is poised at 1-1 but with Robbie Brady’s strike having given us the advantage of a crucial away goal
The team are training in Dublin tonight with the manager expected to know more about the fitness of his players afterwards
