The only way was down to be honest. Or was it?
Arsenal have a gorgeous little jersey as it is. Changing it is a tragedy. Not releasing a new kit though? That’s a bigger crime. Especially when you can reproduce the magic.
Leaked images of the new Gunners home kit for the 2016/17 season are emerging and, whilst you can generally trust Puma with such a project, they’ve outdone themselves in the last few years.
The new kit is delightful too but following last season’s bad boy is like following Cristiano Ronaldo in an underwear modelling shoot.
Look at the 2015/16 number in all of its glory.
It is possible to follow Ronaldo though. Slightly.
Next season’s shirt isn’t much different but it could easily battle the current one and even the delicious leaked Manchester United kit.
No, it’s not your eyes, they are very similar but very much different.
Leaked first by @ArsenalEdits, the new jersey has a daring little stripe lining its centre. The buttoned neck is gone, as are the stripes on the sleeves.
Just give us both, please.
