More tragic news coming out of France this evening as another Northern Ireland supporter has sadly lost his life at the tournament.
The fan died in the stands during Northern Ireland’s 2-0 win over Ukraine, according to the Irish Independent.
Stewards were seen rushing towards the Northern Irish section of the Stade des Lumieres at around the 70 minute mark of the game after a supporter in his early 60s collapsed.
The PSNI confirmed the death of the man after the game.
This is the second Northern Ireland supporter to pass away at the tournament, after 24-year-old Darren Rodgers fell eight feet off a barrier in Nice last weekend. Northern Ireland paid a beautiful tribute to Rodgers life on the 24th minute of the Ukraine clash.
