Michy Batshuayi has only been at Chelsea for a month, but already he’s found himself in a spot of bother.
The Belgian striker, who joined the club in July in a £33.2m deal, found that his Twitter account had been suspended on Sunday night.
There was speculation among fans that he had taken the page down himself after receiving abuse from supporters.
But soon after it happened he told followers on his Facebook and Instagram pages that he did not know why it had been taken down.
“Hey everyone, I just found out my Twitter account has been suspended / deleted but I still don’t know what happened… will be back soon, talk to you there! Michy.”
There were also suggestions that Twitter had suspended his account for copyright infringement, possibly for posting footage of rights-held goals.
Either way, Michy’s people soon had it sorted and he was back Tweeting again late Sunday night.
I missed y'all 🙈😁 Bonne nuit 😘❤

And thanks goodness – now we won’t miss out on seeing what Michy likes to get up to in his spare time, like watching his favourite TV programmes.

Chelsea beat off competition from London rivals Crystal Palace and West Ham as well as Juventus to sign him.
