25 lions/lines on the shirt?
Could this be the jersey England wear when losing on penalties in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016? If so, it’d be fitting attire for an exercise in disappointment.
The new England away strip appears to have been leaked online, and we doubt it’ll go down well with fans of the Three Lions.
The navy kit features a number of horizontal bright blue lines across the chest, and represents a break from England’s traditional red away jersey.
You may not have heard, but England won the World Cup, at Wembley, in 1966, and they wore a red jersey.
Over on The Mirror Row Zed website fans have been giving their opinion on the new jersey, and the verdict isn’t positive so far.
However, if this is indeed the new England strip, it will be their fourth in two years, so a new one shouldn’t be far off, and it may even be red.
