Neil Lennon has been confirmed as Hibernian’s new manager.
The former Celtic boss has replaced Alan Stubbs on a two-year deal. He will be assisted by Garry Parker at Easter Road.
The 44-year-old Northern Irishman has been out of a job since his nightmare stint with Bolton Wanderers. Lennon parted ways with the Trotters back in March while they were rooted to the bottom of the Championship.
However, prior to Bolton, Lennon was hugely successful at the helm of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, claiming three league titles and two Scottish Cups with the Hoops.
The reaction to his appointment has been generally positive from Hibernian fans, who are hopeful that Lennon can return to his former glory and bring the club back to his old stomping ground of top tier Scottish football.
Actually delighted with Lennon being our manager, he could and hopefully will bring in some quality players and march us on to the league💚💚

Personally I think Hibs have pulled off a great bit of business in getting Neil Lennon in. Guy has proved himself in Scotland!
