Jurgen Klopp doesn’t really seem like an office and suit kind of guy.
His predecessor at Anfield Brendan Rodgers may have earned a something of reputation for being similar to everyone’s favourite chilled-out entertainer, but Klopp has been different – a rare thing in football: someone who is genuinely funny.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager is coming to the end of his first few months at Liverpool, and he has settled in well, with the club on the cusp of European final while they are also finally beginning to show consistency as the squad come to grips with his infamous gegenpressing style.
The German is loved by Liverpool fans, and even gets lots of grudging praise from fans of Arsenal and Manchester United for his charisma and character.
Though some of the contents of his office reveal a level of humour that would be more at home in Wernham Hogg.

If the picture really is his office, his secret Santa gift from Nathaniel Clyne of an Oxford English dictionary (good one, Nathaniel) takes pride of place on his shelf alongside a strange array of other items which include two Daniel Sturridge hats, some comedy glasses (who says Germans don’t have a sense of humour?), a bottle of Vimto, a bottle of beer, a sign which reads ‘The Klopps’ and a box of heroes.
There are also two very tacky and very odd-looking golden statuettes.
There is also a Bundesliga winners’ shield and no doubt he will be hoping to add a Europa shield to the cabinet in the coming weeks.
It’s not quite as good as Sam Allardyce’s love affair with printers though.
