Nathan Redmond hasn’t yet closed the door on declaring for Ireland

"I’ll have to decide"

Talented young winger who’s yet to decide on his international future?

Don’t click away, having hit critical mass on Grealish fatigue.

We’re actually talking about England U21 international Nathan Redmond who is eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland senior squad.

And the Norwich winger has revealed that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of pulling on the green jersey when the time comes to make that decision.

Norwich City v West Bromwich Albion - Premier League

“I can still play one more campaign with the England under-21s,” he told Sport-Magazine. “And that will be my third campaign. So I can still play for them, but I’m still viable to play for England seniors, and I qualify to play for the Republic of Ireland seniors, too.

“So when the time hopefully comes to play international football, I’ll have to decide [between England, Jamaica and the Republic of Ireland]. But right now I just want to focus on having a strong Premier League season.”

Martin O'Neill 13/6/2015

Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has previously indicated that Redmond, 21, was a player that his staff were keeping tabs on.

“I’m aware he can play for us,” O’Neill said last year. “We have looked at him.

“My stance on this issue is clear — any player who is eligible is someone we will talk to and, if they are interested, that’s great. But they have to show desire or else it is pointless.”

Fingers crossed lads.
