The Argentina international was reported to have dismissed any talk that Ronaldo is an equal to Lionel Messi, and also allegedly took a sly dig at the Real Madrid’s man sense of self-importance too,
“He has a lot of ego. If you don’t say he’s the best, he’s not your friend. Cristiano thinks he’s the best but he’s over-rated.”

Naturally enough the comments caused a major sh*t-storm this evening, but Napoli have issued a statement to clarify that the striker did not give any interview and the quotes are allegedly made up,
It seems a bit strange that a publication would just fabricate an entire interview so perhaps there is more to it than meets the eye.
