Munich police are investigating Netherlands and Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt on suspicion of a hit-and-run.
As reported by BILD, the defender is said to have driven into a parked car not far from the club's ground on Wednesday morning (7 August).
The 24-year-old then allegedly drove away from the scene without reporting the incident.
The accident is said to have happened at around 10am on Wednesday morning and was reported to Police after a witness said they recognised the player.
The Bayern Munich defender was on his way to training in an Audi Q8 e-tron.
Police are currently evaluating damage and do not want to comment yet on the incident while Bayern and de Ligt have remained silent.
The young defender has had a star-studded career even in the early stage of his career.
De Ligt has played for Ajax, Juventus and Bayern Munich
