Losing two midfielders coupled with having to deal with the shitstorm emerging from THAT incident at the team’s hotel in Portmarnock last night is hardly ideal preparation for one of the biggest games of the Irish team’s year. The duo join players such as Kevin Doyle, Marc Wilson and Darron Gibson to the side’s mounting injury list.
