If Mohamed Salah keeps this up, he’s a shoe-in to become mayor of Liverpool.
As unbelievable as it sounds, there were some Liverpool fans smiling at full-time in Anfield on Sunday. That being said, the majority of these were grinning over Mohamed Salah’s soundness.
That late penalty from Harry Kane made the Liverpool fan in your life insufferable to be around for the next while. Once the reward was reduced from three points to one, fans were understandably frustrated. They gave out about Gary Neville’s commentary, the linesman and some even took aim at VAR.
If you are, or know of, a Liverpool fan who’s in an awful mood from the weekend, we’ve got something to numb the pain. One word, two syllables – Salah.

That young fan spent the entirety of the game holding that sign. All he wanted was to catch the eye of the Egyptian in order to secure a match shirt.
Salah spotted the sign pointed towards him and without hesitation, fulfilled the request. After the full-time whistle blew, he whipped off his shirt, marched over to the stand and handed it to the fan.
The jersey may be worth a pretty penny, but the smiles that touching gesture sparked were absolutely priceless.

28 goals in just 34 games.
If you’re feeling down, Liverpool fans, just remember, you have Salah!
