However Salah was always determined to return to England's top flight to prove his worth and after a couple of impressive years in Italy, he was given the opportunity by Jurgen Klopp. "From January to June 2014, I played ten matches. After that, nothing. I respected the manager’s decision, it was his choice," Salah added.
"But, from time to time, it became difficult for me to accept, because it was not healthy. I had to leave. I like football, it's my passion. So, I had to play football.
"I had a good relationship with him [Mourinho], but it was time for me to leave. I went to Fiorentina on loan and was able to play again.
"I dreamed of playing in the Premier League since I was a kid. I was obsessed with the idea of going back to England from the day I left Chelsea.
