There was a mixed reaction to ‘leaked images’ of Arsenal’s new adidas kits

They've really divided opinion

Arsenal are into the final few months of their Puma deal, with adidas set to take over as the club’s kit manufacturer from the 2019/20 season.

It was announced last October that the Gunners had signed a £300 million kit deal with adidas and as expected, leaked images of the new jerseys are beginning to surface.

Ahead of the new campaign, the below pictures were circulated on Arsenal fan accounts and forums, suggesting an interesting look for the Gunners next term.

Speaking about the new partnership, Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted explained how the sportswear giant was keen to take advantage of the opportunity that Arsenal have to improve on recent disappointing seasons.

“When we look upon the Arsenal brand, it’s a stellar global brand that’s been underperforming in the last couple of years,” Rorsted said.

“We believe that long-term there is so much upside in Arsenal. Football is by far the single biggest sport in the world.”

At the time of writing, Arsenal find themselves in fifth place in the Premier League table but supporters are almost universally in agreement that the appointment of Unai Emery was the right one.

The reaction to the leaked images of the new kits, however, has not been as unanimous.
