Break ups are tough.
Whether you’re a 14-year-old student finding out the love of your life isn’t all they’re cracked up to be, or a 22-year-old Dutch starlet discovering that the Premier League is a bit more difficult than you thought, there’s only one way to deal with a messy break up – delete all evidence the relationship ever happened from your social media.
That’s the mentality of Manchester United winger Memphis Depay who has had a rough time of things since making the move to Old Trafford over the summer, as he appears to have deleted any mention of his time with the Red Devils from his Instagram account.
DePIED-0ff. Hmmm Memphis Depay really has deleted all his Instagram pics of him as a Man Utd player & unfollowed his MUFC teammates.

At present, this is now Depay’s sole Instagram post:

Depay was lured away from a cosy relationship with PSV Eindhoven by the irresistible approaches of Louis van Gaal and Manchester United.
But the young Dutchman has learned that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side as his new partners are proving to be somewhat less attentive than he’s used to.
In Eindhoven, he was adored. Fans had all the time in the world for him and he felt like he was the only player who mattered.
It’s been a different story in Manchester, with Depay feeling unloved by United supporters who have expected more from him. Depay has scored five goals in 40 appearances [16 off the bench].

Now the winger seems to be readying for another summer move, although we won’t know until it’s Facebook official.
