Who is Lee Chapman you ask?
If we said the words “blue wrist bandage”and “same species as Jamie Vardy” would it ring any bells?
Lee Chapman is the Leicester postman who was propelled to the level of minor celebrity last Tuesday when he hijacked his local club’s Premier League celebrations by donning full kit and bandage, and standing outside the King Power stadium until he was picked up by the team bus.

Brave move but, as we suggested 10 days ago, Chapman is well on the way to appearing in celebrity nightclub editions of Blind Date, a la David Brent.
“Royal Mail are taking it in good spirit and have given me a six-month career break. But they want me to do charity work for the Stroke Association while I’m taking time out. I’m happy to do that,” Chapman told the Daily Mirror.
“I’ve been a Vardy double for less than two weeks and not stopped working. I’ve even been interviewed by TV host Piers Morgan.”
Soon he will be going toe-to-toe with Bubbles and the lad off the bank ads for the affections of a Blind Date contestant. When the competition is that fierce you have no time for delivering letters.
Rumours Chapman is going to use his free time to get plastic surgery so that he ACTUALLY looks like Jamie Vardy are unsubstantiated.
