Multiple clubs have made offers for Greenwood

Manchester United have reportedly received a number of loan enquiries for striker Mason Greenwood from clubs in Turkey and with transfer windows open.

The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath reports that Greenwood has been given the chance to play football again, but no offers have officially come in for the United forward.

Some of the other countries that could be open to Greenwood are Benin, the Faroe Islands, South Korea

Last month it was reported that Greenwood would be willing to resurrect his career abroad and would even consider a move to China.

“He said he would be happy to go and play in China as long as that meant he was getting paid well and was playing,” according to one source.

“His view may have softened over the last few months, but he was not happy at all.”

Greenwood had all charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control against him dropped last month. He still faces an internal club investigation as to whether he should be reintegrated into Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Man United released a statement to say that the 21-year-old would remain away from the club while they “conduct their own process before determining next steps.”

Other reports have suggested that the rest of Ten Hag’s first-team squad do not want Greenwood to be reintroduced amongst the playing staff over fears it could derail their current progress.

One source told The Sun: “The players are open to him returning to the team but the scrutiny could be massively distracting.

“The dressing room is the happiest it has been for ages and no one wants to rock the boat.”
