The Ireland XI to face Switzerland has been named.
With just three more games before Euro 2016, this is the last chance for some players to impress the management if they have any aspirations of making the 23-man squad for the tournament.
Ireland welcome the Swiss on Friday night to Dublin before hosting Slovakia on Tuesday night and Martin O’Neill has chosen his side to for the first of those two international friendlies.
The squad are riddled with five injuries for the game – Jon Walters, Robbie Keane, Harry Arter, Jeff Hendrick and Anthony Pilkington are all out for the Switzerland game – but the line-up is exciting nonetheless.
Alan Judge comes in for his full debut, while there are also starts for Shane Duffy and Stephen Quinn.
Kevin Doyle gets a chance up front alongside Shane Long while Aiden McGeady also has an opportunity to stake a claim for one of the wide berths.
