Marko Grujic’s reaction to Jordan Henderson’s wonderstrike against Chelsea was priceless

He wasn't the only one in shock...

When a goal is this good, you can’t really react any other way.

Jordan Henderson put Liverpool 2-0 up during their trip to Stamford Bridge on Friday night with a sweetly-struck shot from outside the box which curled past the helpless Thibaut Courtois.

The Reds were already a goal to the good thanks to, of all people, Dejan Lovren getting to the end of a Philippe Coutinho free kick and side-footing the ball into the back of the next in the opening 20 minutes.

And as the game entered the 40th minute, Henderson doubled the lead from distance in a strong contender for goal of the month.

If Liverpool’s two-goal lead was unexpected, Henderson’s strike was downright shocking (in a good way) and you need not look any further than the Reds’ bench to see just how surprising it was.

In the replays of the goal, we caught sight of Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic who was completely stunned by it all.

You can see him in the back of this video sporting a stylish yellow bib.

You’d swear he’d never seen Jordan Henderson ping one into the top corner from outside the box before.

And he wasn’t the only one.

Diego Costa managed to pull one back for the Blues, but it wasn’t enough as Jurgen Klopp’s men left London with a 2-1 win and all three points.
