Republic of Ireland captain Seamus Coleman could miss the next two weeks with a stress fracture in his foot.
The Everton right-back played the full 90 minutes in Ireland’s 4-1 trouncing at the hands of Wales in the opening game of the UEFA Nations League last week but he then missed the following friendly with Poland on Tuesday.
There were doubts that Coleman could also miss the upcoming Nations League match with Denmark next month but Everton manager Marco Silva alleviated such fears after confirming that the defender could miss up to two weeks with the injury.

Elsewhere Coleman’s Ireland and Everton teammate James McCarthy returned to training on Friday following a horrific double leg break last season.
The Ireland midfielder began running last month but made a return to training as he looks to impress new manager Marco Silva.

Meanwhile winger Theo Walcott and midfielder Idrissa Gueye should both be available for Everton’s visit of West Ham United on Sunday as the Toffees look for what would be just their second win of the new season.
