Manchester United’s 2018/19 kit has been leaked and it has stripes on it

This might not go down too well

The leaks are here, back with a bang.

One would assume that the World Cup would insulate us from this. During the tournament, we’re mostly kept a safe distance from club news, wrapped up warm and cozy from the sharp relentless world of club allegiances.

That is, until we’re not.

And the moment has come, as images of Manchester United’s kit for the upcoming season have been leaked thanks to the good folk of footyheadlines.com.

The pictures show that the top could have thin stripes towards the bottom, creating a gradient that fades into black.

Usually, United’s shirt designs are simplistic, with a different trim every year. Maybe a collar, buttons or as we saw in 2009/10, a Rugby League style V shape on the chest.

Some United fans might be disappointed by these leaked photos, as it hints at a deviation from the tradition of white shorts, and features controversial stripes.

The collar is also designed in a V shape with a flat bottom, as seen on the current Argentina shirt.
