Plenty of Premier League teams could do with a goalscorer like Odion Ighalo, and there’s a chance the Nigerian could fall right into Man United’s lap.
The Watford striker has already scored 14 league goals this season – more than any other Hornets player in Premier League history.
But he admits he’s “not sure I would say no” were United to make an approach, according to the Evening Standard.
“[Manchester United] were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV,” Ighalo said
“They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream.”
The 26-year-old joined Watford from Serie A side Udinese, initially on loan, in 2014.
He has played top-flight football in Italy, Spain and Norway, but is thought to be keen to stay in England now that he has established himself in the Premier League.
Ighalo scored 29 goals between the Championship and Premier League in 2015 and the fun all started against Charlton, last January.
