Reports in France today say Louis van Gaal has made sure to keep the receipt
It looks like the Radamel Falcao trial in Manchester is going to be a one-season affair. The Colombian striker, who arrived in the summer on a very pricey loan from Monaco, looks set to be shipped back to the principality at the end of the season.

Falcao has struggled with fitness since he arrived at Old Trafford and he has managed just four goals for Louis van Gaal’s side since he arrived.
Add to that Falcao’s enormous wages (reported to be £265,000 a week) and the cost of making the deal permanent (said to be in the region of £43million) we can understand why United have decided to say thanks but no thanks.
We wonder if Falcao does rediscover his old self and has a blistering end to the season would the powers that be at Old Trafford have a change of heart though?
